I’ve got a secret: my hair dries in nearly half the time it used to take. How, you might ask? Well, that’s my secret! My Amazing BlowDry Secret!
My Amazing BlowDry Secret is truly amazing! So, what is it? A hair care set that includes a shampoo, conditioner, and Quick Dry Shake’n Spray.
How does it work? See the full details here, but simply put there is a special coconut-oil moisture wicking system in the shampoo. No, that doesn’t mean that your hair will be oily. That means that the oils and nutrients disperse through the hair, protecting and moisturizing it, while the water evaporates 50% faster.
Simply wash your hair with the shampoo and rinse. Then, apply the conditioner and let it sit in your hair for a few minutes. I generally use this time to clean my face and body. Rinse the conditioner out and towel dry your hair as usual.
Once you step out of the shower and dry off, spritz the Quick Dry Shake’n Spray evenly over your hair. I suggest using the spray before combing because it is an amazing detangler! Don’t worry if you see separation in the bottle – that’s normal. Just remember to shake it well before each use so the ingredients mix and work properly. I’ve even noticed that using the spray with a different shampoo and conditioner will still decrease drying time some.
If you are me, you prefer skipping the blow dryer. I mean, I’m the mom of two toddlers.. usually by the time I’m done with my shower, someone is getting into something they shouldn’t, so I normally let my hair air dry. It…takes…forever. I had no idea how My Amazing BlowDry Secret would work without being blow dried. I mean, did it require a blow dryer to work? Nope – my hair dries in about half the time even without the blow dryer!
But don’t worry! I used the blow dryer the next time and the products definitely stood up to their claim, and my hair was dry in no time at all.
And get this – the products will protect your hair at a temperature up to 450 degrees!
So what’s the bad? If you are used to buying professional hair products, there is no bad. But if you are used to the prices you generally find on Pantene and Aussie, $22 for a 10.1 oz shampoo is a bit steep. As a mom with other monetary priorities at this time (boo to bills and living expenses..) I may have to sacrifice using the shampoo and conditioner every month, but I am definitely attached to the spray!
