Writing Practice for Preschoolers: Back to School themed!

Back to School writing practice for preschoolers and kindergarteners - love it!

Hey there!  I can’t believe it either but school is back on the schedule!  My oldest is heading back for his 2nd year of pre-k and we’re so excited.  He loves it!  But I have to admit, we slacked a little on practicing writing during summer vacation.  To give Alex some practice writing this afternoon, I’ve created this Back to School themed printable and am sharing it with you!

Simply print out this page, help your child trace the letters, and explain what each word is.  For added fun, laminate the page or stick it in a page protector and use a dry erase marker!  If you need some more ideas to get back into school mode, check out our list of Free Back to School Printables.  We’ve also compiled a list of over 50 Healthy After School Snacks!

Free 4th of July Printable for preschoolers and kindergarteners to practice printing and spelling!

The 4th of July is one of my favorite holidays with warm weather, fireworks, yummy treats, and most importantly, a reminder to appreciate our freedom!  As a parent, it is my duty to inform my sons of how lucky we are to live freely and to never take it for granted.  Right now they are just 4 years old and 2 1/2 years old so we are taking baby steps.  This free printable is the perfect start!

Simply print out this page, help your child trace the letters, and explain what each word means.  It is the perfect time to bond and keep those minds active during summer!

Free Printable: Father’s Day Word Practice

Father's Day activity for preschoolers and kindergarten aged kids! (FREE PRINTABLE!!!)

Hello everyone!  I’ve been pretty busy now that school is out (I have one preschooler) but I promise, I’m still around!  As we all know, Father’s Day is just a few days away so I wanted to share this quick activity for you to print out for your little ones.

This printing practice sheet is perfect for preschoolers and kindergarteners who are learning how to write letters and spell basic words.  My 4 year old, for one, absolutely loves when I create a new one.  He practices tracing the words on the front, then flips the page over to write them on his own.  Gosh, he’s growing up so fast!
