Review: By Hand Granola

As a new mom, I am looking to become healthier and be more nutritionally conscious of what I am eating. This morning I started the day off right!  I poured myself some granola in a bowl and added some milk.  Mmmm… it was delicious AND healthy!

By Hand Granola has sent me some of their hand-made granola to review and I was impressed!  There is more to it than just plain granola. The “original” granola recipe has macadamia nuts, sliced almonds, cinnamon, little pieces of cranberries…yumm..    The gluten free was surprising to me – I normally think of gluten free as less flavorful… nope – it had just as much or maybe even more flavor!  The gluten free recipe has most of the same ingredients but has cashews in place of almonds and of course gluten free oats!

By Hand Granola is a home-made recipe created by a granola addict and her two children, one of whom has celiac disease, inspiring the gluten-free version of By Hand Granola.  The granola is sweet and has a nice

balance of flavors and comes in large and small clumps in every bag, making every individual bite delicious.

The granola is available in either 4.5 oz or 12oz packages and you can order on the By Hand Granola website or visit their store in the LA area.  Be sure to keep an eye on their Facebook page for deals!  When they reach 500 fans on their Facebook page, they will be giving away some By Hand Granola prize packages!
